Breakfast is served in the old "mill". Where previously a bagging system and various feedstuffs were stored in sacks, guests can now strengthen themselves for the day.
In the evening, the fireplace invites you to linger comfortably under the old beams. The old ramp for loading the "Pütwagen" was redesigned so that it is also accessible to people with disabilities.
The old dairy was built in 1907 by the dairy specialist Menke from Ankum. Heinrich Schute from 's-Hertogenbosch acquired the building on October 1, 1913.
Together with his family, he expanded the dairy to include a grain and feed store, a brown bread bakery, a sawmill and an electricity plant.
In the 1940s, the eldest son Franz and then his son Heinrich took over the business. In 1968 the dairy and in 1993 the country store closed.
In the course of village renewal, the building underwent extensive renovation in 2010.
